Competition here is fierce. It's a crowded market, a finite amount of money coming in from buyers ("the pie"), with a large amount of places for money to flow out to sellers.

I understand everyone competes for a slice of the pie, either for economic reasons or, perhaps personal validation reasons (even though they probably shouldn't).

Whatever the case, trying to increase your share by coercing, or guilt tripping existing buyers is a risky strategy. Some submissive buyers may be motivated by the sense of "never having spent enough" or "I can't pay my water bill and it's your fault" - but in my experience they are in the minority. So use that tactic very cautiously, because you may end off putting them off and reducing your share, rather than increasing it.

The "who should message first" thing is often discussed.
I think the reality is, there is no right answer. Everyone is different, has their own needs and ways.

I've just spent 15 minutes writing, re-writing and getting anxious over sending a first message. I managed it today :D but often time I give up in a spiral of shame.

But there'll be lots of people out there who have no such struggle at all.

I think, "you do you" is the right answer here. What matters is the quality of the interaction AFTER that first message is made, whoever does it.

Generally, I'm a believer you are either Dominant/submissive or not.
But I know there are people who want to provide the roleplay service still and also people who are figuring themselves out - and thats all valid and good and I support it!

If you are producing content or services for subby boys and you are new to it and feeling a bit lost though, maybe it's worth taking a look at what others have done before?

Good femdom JOI/POV is honestly, an art form and is heavily based in the script and "atmosphere." It's also a flooded market place with lots on offer. Maybe some market research can help?

If you've never watched any of the greats in that space (I'm thinking the likes of Eva De Vil, Ceara Lynch or Mistress T etc) it's really worth having a look? It might sound weird, but go and study 'em? Watch them like you were doing media studies or psychology homework? Or find a kind subby boy and ask him to share a clip that he comes back to again and again? Whats the active ingredient in it? Whats the trigger?

Doesn't mean you have to copy them, you've got your own style ;) But it might help in understanding a bit more what the active ingredients are and helping to produce that killer "product" that gets them feral ;)

It's entirely possible to create something that grows beyond what you originally intended? Beyond what it meant to you originally and beyond what you can support now. Sometimes (often) it happens totally unintentionally.
